The industry standard "Tin-plated (chromium-plated) thin steel sheet round full-opening easy-open lids" has the standard number QB/T 2466-1999, was published on December 14, 1999, and implemented on May 1, 2000. The competent authority is the State Light Industry Bureau. The "Green Design Product Evaluation Specification for Aluminum and Coated Iron Easy-Open Lids," compiled under the leadership of Baosteel Packaging, has been approved and implemented after expert review organized by the China Packaging Federation. The formulation and publication of this group standard fills the gap in green product evaluation methods in the metal packaging industry.
